| Starting off with an MVC w/ Rollover at Hope Rd and Tanyard Rd with reported 2 people trapped. Units arrived to find a trash truck on its side, with the occupants already out but one of them required aviation to shock trauma. Haz Mat 1 was requested to handle a pump off of the truck.
At approximately 8:00pm, units were dispatched for a Dwelling fire, at 118 Andrew Ct, reported as a lightning strike. Units arrived to find a 2 story, single family with smoke showing from the eves and eventually fire showing from side delta. Personnel were able to quickly contain the fire to the area around the fireplace and chimney with minimal extension. No one was home at the time of the fire and the cause was determined to in fact be from a lightning strike.
Just prior to 11:00pm, units were dispatched for another MVC w/ Rollover in the area of Mason Branch Rd and Three Pines Rd. Units arrived to find one vehicle overturned with everyone out and one pediatric requiring aviation for transport to JHU. |
